Position Description:
New surgery center is seeking an Administrator to direct and coordinate the activities of physicians, nursing and administrative staffs and services. Primary duties include:

  • Coordinates all human resources and benefits matters.
  • Coordinates physician credentialing processes to meet State, Federal and accreditation requirements.
  • Manages payor and contract negotiations and implementation.
  • Oversees compliance with billing, HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Liaison to legal counsel and CPA for corporate matters.
  • Governs computer network matters.
  • Oversees business development, including marketing and public relations and website.
  • Conforms to HIPAA Privacy Policies at all times and acts as HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer.
  • Oversees the employee hiring process and maintenance of staffing needs.
  • Conducts employee performance ev! aluations on annual basis with the assistance of the Director of Nursing and Business Office Manager.
  • Identifies staffing needs and assists in the recruitment for all open positions.
  • Directs hiring and training of personnel.
  • Maintains compliance to all approved policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates process to create and implement new policies and procedures.
  • Oversees Facility operating room schedules and staffing needs .
  • Evaluates and negotiates property and equipment needs and improvements and manages procurement process.
  • Manages all aspects of financials, including A/R, A/P, and P/R.
  • Contributes to the progress and development of the facilities Quality, Risk Management and Infection Control programs.
  • Designates and monitors the Risk manager and participates in programs directed toward patient and employee safety.
  • Evaluates suggestions, grievances and processes to identify opportunitie! s to improve the quality of care.
  • Implements practices and reg! ulations to provide for an environment of safety.
  • Monitors patient care programs and reviews procedures to ensure they meet outcomes standard criteria.
  • Monitors the Facilities physical environment and determines and implements methods for maintaining safety, cleanliness and order.
  • Reviews all data from Quality and Risk Managers and prepares reports for evaluation.
  • Contributes to quality management process by communicating contributions at the employer's request.
  • Maintains continuity among physician, nursing and administrative staffs by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
  • Communicates effectively with all contacts while representing the surgery center.
  • Maintains professional competence by participating and organizing continuing education and other mandatory continuing education and learning experiences.
