Area of Responsibility:
The Credentials Verification and Licensing Teams play an essential role because they enable VISTA staffing teams to meet their obligations to clients and physicians by getting credentials reviewed in time for assignments and by getting physicians new licenses in time to work in those assignments. Managers responsibilities include:
Supervising the Credentials Verification/Licensing teams for VISTA Staffing Solutions.
Implementing, refining, or developing processes that meet the highest standards for screening and assessing the quality of physicians and helping physicians secure licenses in new states.
Making sure the work of the department is efficient, consistent, accurate, and professional.
Maintaining excellent relationships with state and federal agencies to make sure VISTA knows all policies and procedures an! d can anticipate changes or delays.
Essential Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent experience
Three years of successful supervisory experience in the locum tenens industry, staffing or healthcare field preferred
Experience should demonstrate knowledge of: Strong communication and team building skills
Ability to identify and improve administrative processes and guidelines
Savvy with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn proprietary software
An understanding of standards set by the NCQA, the Joint Commission, and other recognized credentialing and licensing entities, preferred
Basic accounting skills to reconcile department spend monthly
Ability and willingness to cover interim staffing gaps
Ability to understand financial and budget information, and to operate within these parameters.
Ability to manage stress effectively.
Ability to develop and maintain effective communication with compan! y partners such as Division and Operations and Sales Managers

Willingness to expand working knowledge of the locum tenens business and stay informed about market and competitive issues through research and professional networking.
Willingness to take classes and participate in learning opportunities, both within and outside the company.
