GS Plastic Optics is hiring Optics Molding Operators for all shifts. These are excellent opportunities for individuals who can follow direction, have a strong attention to detail and detail, and can work independently and be a productive team member.
The starting pay range for these positions is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. Individuals working B or C shift are paid shift differentials. Shift hours:
A Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
B Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
C Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 p.m. through 7:00 a.m.
Responsibilities:
- Operate one or more molding machines, as assigned.
- Performs visual inspection of and ?degates? product.
- Carefully handles product to prevent damage.
- Reads, understands and implements all process, quality and safety work instructions for assigned jobs.
- Takes inventory to see if one has all required materials and accessories readily available to perform job and replenishes supplies for the next shift before leaving.
- Performs simple milling and secondary operations on molded parts.
- Labels and packages parts correctly.
