Radiologic Technologist

The Radiologic Technologist performs routine radiographic examinations to patients of all ages consistently demonstrating knowledge and practice of radiation safety. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the Imaging Department. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's policies and procedures and skills check lists.
Will cover X Ray shifts at Hospital and Solitude clinic.
Will perform quality diagnostic and interventional exams in Radiology department.
Position is PRN (as needed) shifts will vary.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology and ARRT registration.
Current Utah State Radiological Technologist Licensure
BLS Certification.
Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages helpful.
Basic computer skills with knowledge of various software applications.
Good interpersonal skills
Preferences

Tech with 2 years experience in Special procedures and MRI, highly preferred.
