Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. The Sales Representative II is responsible for achieving budgeted sales goals for his or her territory. This position will drive sales growth utilizing communication skills, knowledge of Zimmer p! roducts, and in-person meetings to assist current customers and secure potential customers. This position reports to the Sales Team Leader or Regional Sales Manager within a defined territory or region.
The Sales Representative II is responsible for building an effective sales pipeline which will result in booked sales and is also responsible for timely follow up, management and distribution of leads in his or her assigned region.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Builds and implements a Territory Sales plan for his/her territory
Achieves sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis
Actively participates in the development of a yearly sales budget for the assigned area of responsibility
Plans, coordinates and executes local educational and sales events that will augment the business and help to deliver budgeted sales goals
Utilizes sales system to manage and track leads and opportunities, and report on daily customer sales activit! y and non-customer prospecting activities
Communicates wit! h Regional Sales Managers and other internal functions to ensure voice of customer is heard by internal departments
Reports on competitor and customer activities in the field
Builds strong relationships with key surgeons in his or her assigned area
Supports referral network of key surgeons and works with key surgeons to educate referrals on Zimmer products
Strictly adheres to all policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training.
Ability to cover Reconstructive, Extremities, CAS, Surgical, Sports Medicine and Trauma procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen.
Supports Zimmer sales by sharing knowledge, ideas and references. Promotes team spirit and team success especially in his or her assigned sales region.
Expected Areas of Competence
Must be mobile and willing to travel
Willing a capable of carry weights ! up to 50 lbs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team is essential to the job
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time, paying close attention to detail
Communicate clearly in verbal and written form in English
Perform all other duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelorâs Degree required
Minimum of 5 years sales experience â" medical device, surgical.
Travel Requirements
Up to 95% predominantly by car - depending on territory 0% to 20% overnight stays as well as air travel might be required
