The Professional Education Associate 1 / Event Planner candidate will partner with the Cardiac Surgery Systems professional education team to execute professional education ! strategies in our Draper, UT facility.
Responsibilities:
Effectively develop and manage relationships with professional education program managers, sales reps, legal, travel and finance department
Work with sales reps, course managers and travel department for input on vendor selection for training programs
Manage (selection, contract negotiation, scheduling, payment, etc.) all vendors for events:
Hotel
Restaurants
Meeting venues
Ground transportation
Generate communications to sales team to provide updates and critical information
Create and manage professional education course materials (invitations, agendas, letters, preceptor CVs, brochures, etc.)
Manage consulting agreement process (initiation/renewal paperwork, mailing, tracking, etc)
Manage professional education registration website
Manage professional education expenses
Track training prog! rams and program details through detailed reporting
D! evelop and manage a budget tracking system for the professional education department
Manage instrumentation and training model/simulators library
Book travel for consultants as needed
Ensure that professional education activities are executed within compliance and regulatory guidelines
Travel: 0-5%
Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in simultaneously managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a professional, structured environment
Customer-focus, accountability, collaboration, project/process management skills required
Must have strong desire and skill sets to be able to perform flawless execution of events and programs
Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Meeting planning / event planning preferred
Bachelor’s degree (business) preferred
Characteristics:

Good communicator (both verbal and written)

Represents Edwards in a professional manner (will interact with cardiac surgeons)
