The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides extraordinary care and! treatment to patients in the pediatric setting. The NP is accountable for delivering optimal patient care through effective clinical practice, educating patient and patientâs family members by answering their questions, and providing comfort and support. This NP professional works in collaboration with other members of the Pediatrics team and interdisciplinary providers to assess, diagnose and determine a plan to ensure proper and complete patient care. Other responsibilities could include: Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patientsâ health care condition and needs. The Pediatric NP utilizes advanced specialty knowledge to ensure that exceptional care is provided in an appropriate, effective, timely and cost-efficient manner.
Entry Rate: $35.64

Shift Details: Weekday Days. Flexibility is key in our department. This position is to cover Vacations and LOA.

Minimum Requirements
Current state license as a Nurse Practitioner
Eligible for state Controlled Substance License II through V
Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V

Preferred Qualifications
Surgical Services or pediatric patient background and experience
PALS certification
