Aufgaben
- Design, build, operate and maintain modern data analytics platforms, both in the cloud, on-premise and hybrid
- Leverage state-of-the-art technologies, tools and methodologies to achieve your goals.
- Automate platform lifecycles according to IaC principles
- Review, audit and troubleshoot existing solutions and system architectures
- Participate in customer workshops and presentations of proposed solutions
- Explore available technologies to provide business support to our clients
- Get involved in Scigility internally, e.g.
- Provide input to help shaping our technology strategy
- Do tech sessions to promote sharing internal knowledge
- Participate in pre-sales activities
- Be a mentor for new-joiners
Qualifikation
- Degree in computer science or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland
- Proactive team player attitude with the ability to work independently and accurately in interdisciplinary projects
- Curiosity for new technologies and willingness to learn
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong command of English (C1) and German (at least B2)
- Hands-on experience in applying IaC and deployment automation using a Ansible, Terraform, or a similar technology
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Linux administration, networking & security setup and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with
- Cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Microservices, Docker
- Big Data or distributed technologies (Hadoop, etc.)
- Annual IT budget and home office equipment of your choice
