We are currently seeking a skilled Statutory Accountant to join our team and help prepare financial statements, US GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations, and other financial reports for our global clients in the EMEA region.

We will trust you to:
- Prepare the year-end financial close activities (US GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations, Local GAAP financial statements drafting);
- Be in contact with the auditors for the preparation of the PBC list;
- Be in contact with the external consultants for the preparation of annual CIT questionnaires;
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting, tax and finance projects;
- Support the team leader in order to achieve a smooth operation of all transaction parts and monthly reporting;
- Provide guidance to junior staff and assist with mentoring staff to meet all client deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 3 - 5 years experience in accounting & financial reporting
- Good MS Office skills (particularly Advanced Excel skills)
- Fluency in English (Written and Verbal)
- Good knowledge of Accounting & Taxation principles
- Good communication skills with proactive, supportive & positive approach
- Εxperience in preparing financials: knowledge of temporary and permanent adjustments, cut off, rebates, accruals, deferred and current tax entries
