RL Channel Strategy and Experiences Operations Manager


 
We are looking for a RL Channel Strategy and Experiences Operations Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for creating, planning, solving complex needs within RL Channel Strategy and Experiences. This includes planning, budgeting, communicating, building, maintaining, visualizing and reporting on all aspects of the immediate and broader business as it relates to the Channel Strategy and Experiences group. This experienced role plays an instrumental part in contributing to the vision for our global customers to find, learn and experience products through physical retail. It is critical to have experience with retail and marketing operations, data architecture and analysis, dashboarding/visualization of data, and budget management.The candidate must be able to plan, execute, and evaluate complex projects where analysis of situations and decision making requires an evaluation of unclear and unknown factors. Building relationships to influence leadership to align on direction for broad projects spanning across several organizations is a critical capability. Being able to proactively identify problems and assess problems when presented to create and implement a solution. The role is impact, accuracy and organization oriented with the goal of defining functional strategy and setting goals across orgs. The RL Channel Strategy and Experiences Operations Manager must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with constant change executing multiple projects, while working collaboratively and communicating clearly across teams such as channel marketing, operations, sales, analytics, and external vendors.

RL Channel Strategy and Experiences Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Build processes for the org based on business needs and requirements presented from the org leaders.
  • Assist with Building/Deploying a data pipeline management system partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage/Maintain/Visualize large volumes of data from multiple sources globally.
  • Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure solutions provided maximize impact and minimize costs.
  • Act as liaison between global 3rd party labor partners, channel marketing managers and channel experiences for data management.
  • Build highly detailed analysis recommendations for a variety of initiatives across all product lines.
  • Create, maintain, and enforce processes for all operations globally in store and with 3rd party labor partners.
  • Develop and launch KPI management tools and dashboard by managing engineering resources.
  • Partner with Finance and the Center of Excellence on budget forecast and management.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in retail or channel marketing operations for the consumer electronics field.
  • Proven knowledge to understand the unique operating conditions within retailers domestically and globally and how that impacts the planning and executing of the initiatives for all product lines.
  • Must have experience sharing program/project updates across broad teams and organizations - transparency and speed are key within the environment and the skill to communicate, clear + concise cross functionally at all levels.
  • Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail with skill to track and articulate the intricacies of reporting results for project execution.
  • Interpersonal skills, approachable and flexible.
  • Experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to drive and deliver programs and processes.
  • Proven communicator with communication skills.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skill to translate complex engineering and data related items to make them understandable by the lowest common denominator.
  • Managing Data Visualization experience, Tableau
  • Experience in working in a highly cross-functional setting.
  • Budget and fiscal management experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with retail partners and their guidelines / processes.
  • Experience within a brand managing analysis and budgets.
  • Experience in reporting on large-scale launches and programs.
