Executive Director, Surgical Services reports to the CNO and responsible for the overall performance of the following department: OR, Central Sterile, PACU, pre-op Clinic, and Day Surgery. The position is accountable for providing clinical, financial, and administrative leadership and expertise to implement the vision, mission, plans, and standards of the organization. Works very closely with the Supply Chain Director and OR Materials Manager, directors of the other clinical departments, and physician leadership. There is already a Director of Surgical Services who will report directly up to this Executive Director of Surgical Services so this is truly a strategic leadership position and will require someone with strong leadership! in this area.
Requirements: RN license, BSN, ! Master Degree. Must have strong experience in the surgical services and strong progressive clinical management in this area. Must have sufficient experience to have a strong understanding of the hospital and healthcare delivery system as well as the operations of the Surgical Service Line. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, must be strategic, business savvy and a change agent.
