Training Specialist - Cardiac Surgery Systems

The Training Specialist is responsible to ensure CSS & HVT operations employees are compliant with all required global, EHS, and job specific! elements of training. In doing so, the Training Specialist will conduct training and certifications, complete data entry and record keeping of all training and certifications, compile training metrics, and implement training effectiveness measurement methods. This position also provides support for the Manufacturing Support Specialists and serves as the systems expert for both LMS and Blue Mountain.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Instructor Led Training (ILT ) Prepare training materials for both Read and Review and On the Job (OJT) methods of training Process, track and maintain training and certification records both electronically and hard copy in compliance to ISO13485 and FDA Part 820 regulatory requirements Receive new employees directly from the New Employee Orientation and immediately being the training process with them Ensure manufacturing training and certifications are completed within allotted time requirements by frequently reviewing training st! atus of all employees in LMS and addressing training/certifica! tion needs before their due dates Serve as systems expert for LMS and Blue Mountain by answering questions from users of these systems and helping them to efficiently execute their work within these systems Provide support to Manufacturing Support specialist by helping them complete their work in times of high demand and serve as their back-up during their absence Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Supervisors and Quality Engineers to ensure training is implemented and records are maintained per person sequences, work instructions and process in manufacturing
Required Education/Skills/Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of related job experience and a high school diploma are required. Good written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to work in a fast paced team environment is required. Must be proficient with a variety of software packages, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to receive and provide fe! edback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner. High level of self-directed initiative, filing skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are preferred.
