The Surgical Tech is a valuable member of the surgical team providing assistance to surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses. The surgical team works to ensure that the patient's operative procedure goes smooth! ly and quickly, and that the patient has a safe and positive surgical experience. The Surgical Tech provides expertise in the handling of instruments, supplies and equipment during the intra-operative period. Advancement opportunities are available for those interested in pursuing a specialized field of surgery.
Minimum Requirements

Physical Requirements
Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician training course or experience working as an operating room technology training program
National! certification as a Surgical Technician
One year of h! ospital Operating Room Surgical Technician experience
