People in this critical role help VISTA staffing teams get physicians to work where and when they are really needed by helping the doctors secure new state medical licenses in time to work in our ! locum tenens (temporary) assignments. Under the supervision of the Credentials Verification and Licensing Manager, licensing specialists handle a myriad of details involved in the process, including verification requests, data gathering, on-line fact checking, and more. They use the phone, the internet, and email extensively. They use Windows-based computer applications and VISTAs proprietary computer system to ensure efficiency. They maintain workflow according to established guidelines and standards and ensure timely completion of all requests. They provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries promptly and resolving problems in an efficient and effective manner that builds long-term relationships with physicians, state medical licensure boards, medical specialty associations, and other organizations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
High school education or equivalent
Minimum of two years of work experience with demonstrated skills in managing multip! le priorities.
Ability to perform research and handle extr! emely detailed work
Ability to keep files current and accurate
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to create correspondence with excellent spelling, punctuation ,and grammar
Computer experience with Windows® computer applications, including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer; typing at 60 wpm
Ability to project desired company image and demeanor
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
A minimum of a high school diploma
Associates degree or Bachelors degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 2 years of experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Excellent Written and oral communication
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Strong organization skills and the ability to lead and direct a team.
Is a positive, friendly and professional representative of VISTA Staffing Sol! utions; will have effective social interaction and communication skills as well as the ability to perform a variety of tasks efficiently
