Shift/Schedule:
12 hour Day and Night shifts available

Facility Description:
This facility has 317 licensed beds and 18 beds ICU, is Non-Union with more than 1500 employees and volunteers. They have more than 600 physicians on staff that are seeing 8,000+ outpatient visits per year and 15,000+ inpatient admissions annually. Currently, this facility includes six hospitals in Utah, two in Idaho and one in Alaska. Among other awards, they are a Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital (Thomson Reuters, 2012), Top 15% in the nation for Heart Failure Treatment, five years in a row (HealthGrades, 2008-2012) and Top 15% in the nation for Valve Replacement Surgery (HealthGrades, 2011-2012). This patient population ranges from carotids, OB, bariatric surgery, sepsis, thoracotomy and a busy open heart program, averaging 1 to 2 hearts per day. They have Intensivist on the unit 24/7.
Qualified candidates will have 1 year or mor! e experience in a similar size ICU. The primary credentials we are looking for would be a positive personality and some ICU experience in a busy unit. We would prefer candidates that are heart trained with balloon pump experience, but want to reiterate, they are willing to train.
Specific Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an RN and at least 1 year experience in the ICU
- ACLS, BLS
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
