ECommerce Associate [United Kingdom]

As an ECommerce Assistant at Trunk Clothiers you will serve as the first point of contact for our global online business. Focusing primarily on fulfilment, returns and customer service and engagement, the role will also support the wider eCommerce function to maintain and update our Shopify Plus stores, including accurately listing products, merchandising collection pages and making suggestions to improve overall user experience.

Reporting directly to the ECommerce Manager, you will work in a small but agile team where everyone’s opinion is valued. You will be expected to quickly gain a full 360 understanding of the business. A team player with a motivated and proactive attitude is a must.

This role would be best suited to someone who is just beginning their eCommerce journey, and while prior experience is desirable, full training can be provided to candidates who can demonstrate relevant experience in other fields.

Responsibilities:
  • Order processing, from picking and packing to shipping
  • Managing, processing and reporting on returns and exchanges
  • Acting as primary point of contact for online customers, answering phone and email enquiries and resolving requests and complaints in a timely manner
  • Driving sales though customer engagement and support with product and styling advice
  • End to end product listing ensuring product information is accurate and up to date
  • Merchandising of collection pages working closely with internal teams such as marketing, buying and product
  • Conducting regular site checks, flagging and proactively fixing any issues
  • Keeping up to date and constantly providing ideas to optimise user journey and online experience
  • Reporting on sales performance on a daily basis
  • Ad-hoc tasks to support the team

You will have:
  • 1-2 years’ experience working with Shopify Plus or a similar e-commerce platform ideally in fashion or lifestyle (other relevant experience or a strong retail background may also be considered)
  • Experience with content, product & inventory management
  • A proactive nature, confident with acute attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for eCommerce and all things digital in addition to fashion and lifestyle trends
  • A customer centric mindset
  • Knowledge of Bright Pearl, NetSuite or other ERP/CRM and warehouse systems would be an advantage

This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based in our Marylebone office in central London. Flexibility to work weekends would be a bonus. Candidates without prior experience in eCommerce must provide a cover letter stating why their experience could be applicable to the role.
