Quality Assurance Manager
We are looking for a talented and proven QA individual with management experience within production and administration, to be based in Püspökladány, Hungary
You will have extensive interface throughout the manufacturing site, closely collaborating with Order Engineering, Production, Planning and Supply Chain organizations as well as having strong interlocks with other Johnson Controls manufacturing sites around the world. As part of the local leadership & Plant Manager’s teams, you will operate within the Global Quality function with an alignment to the Quality Director HVAC/R.
At Johnson Controls, you will join a truly diverse and global organization in a fast-moving, value-based work environment with future growth opportunities. In your role you will lead a team of 13 individuals responsible mainly for inspection and test, CE documentation and quality engineering.
What you will do
- Be a part of the Management team on site, supporting the organization alongside our Plant Manager
- Drive and lead our QA team members and specialists
- Develop and maintain systems and structures to drive improvement and support the effective maintenance for ISO 9001, PED and marine certifications.
- Maintain and implement quality control and assurance solutions for meeting legal and customer requirements
- Implementation of quality tools supporting successful launch of new products
- Improve the site’s quality Key Performance Indicators through strong partnership with both internal and external stakeholders
- Represent quality function in and outside the manufacturing site.
- Furthermore, you will be part of the HVAC / R Quality & EHS group as well as the global HVAC / R team
- Evangelize the importance of quality to foster quality awareness in the company culture
We are looking for
- Experience within Quality Management
- Leadership experience
- Thorough understanding of the ISO 9001 standard
- Skilled in risk management practices (FMEA, Control Plan etc)
- Facilitation skills and ability to influence
- Proficient in verbal and written English and Hungarian
