HR Coordinator [United States]


 
Overview:
Our People Operations Coordinator directly contributes to our mission of making autism services personal by supporting our team as they onboard and assimilate into our company and culture. This role will also make sure all compliance and paperwork items are completed accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

    Onboarding:

    • Partner with Talent Acquisition Team for back-end onboarding of new hires.
    • Complete onboarding, included and not limited to:
      • Collecting & Filing New Hire Documents
      • Background Screening Completion
      • Certifications verification prior to onboarding- CPR, Mandated Reporter, etc.
      • Credentialing Information
      • New Hire Information / Documents
      • System Setup
      • I-9 processing
    • Extensive follow-up and constant communication with New Hires to ensure a timely onboarding experience.
  • Audits/Compliance:
    • Assist with Employee File Audits for various governing boards.
  • Answer general team member questions about system access, benefits, VOEs, pay and processes.
  • Assisting the People Operations Department with planning company-wide events or initiatives.
  • Special Projects as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of HR experience with start-up environment OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and ability to learn new software systems
  • Strong communication
  • Confident communication skills for fielding calls on behalf of the agency and its representatives.
  • Excellent written communication skills for professional emails and various reporting methods.
