Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, functions in technical capacity supporting the Information Technology program initiatives; designs software enhancements and analyzes and resolves application problems; responds to application-related issues and develops corrective actions; codes and tests software fixes and enhancements to meet IOC user requirements; documents software changes and applies IOC procedures; prepares software for migrations between staging and production environments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related degree with coursework specific to information technology; minimum one year experience in application development, web site development/maintenance; modification, documentation, and software programming, preferably in one or more of the following languages: T-SQL, JavaScript, .Net (C#, ASP.net), ColdFusion/CFML; knowledge of version control practices and environments a plus.

Education Degree

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related degree with coursework specific to information technology.
