ClubXYouthniversity (CXY) is an in-person and online High Impact ELA, Math tutoring and wellness support service for children and youth in grades K-12. Our focus is on children and youth in communities most often overlooked, underserved and on the other side of the digital and economic divide. Our goal is to bridge that gap with a plethora of high quality educational and wellness support.
ClubXYouthniversity is seeking a highly motivated, organized, engaging and detail-oriented Outreach Support Member to join our team. Outreach Specialists will report directly to the Managing Director and work in support of the Tutoring and Wellness Program. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, hard-working, and energetic.. The Outreach Specialist,, must be a fast learner and have great communication skills, writing skills, networking skills, and leadership. In addition, experience working in a Non-Profit Realm, School, and/or Educational Institution is preffered. The position requires flexibility and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Roles and Responsibilities

- Meet daily and/or weekly outbound calls to families eligible for our programs in various schools providing families with program knowledge and accuracy.
- Represent the program positively by maintaining a great relationship with families and gaining trust and understanding; this reflects a position of support for their circumstances which communicates a strong partnership
- Minimize family obstacles by initial problem solving but by also documenting outreach of every attempt at reaching out, noting challenging families, reforming unresolved issues.
- Keep up to date with all required information on our programs through open communication with the supervisory team.
- Accurately maintain and update student and family information on the designated sheets and document all calls with specific notes and pertinent information.
- Adhere to the ClubXYouthiversity follow up process on families when needed.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to helping others, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership, problem solving abilities, and organization.
- Be flexible and available
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Google suite and command of remote technology
- Great writing and speaking etiquette
- Be an excellent listener and responder
- Prefer but not required: Prior experience in Outreach, Non profit work and/or customer service.
