Payroll Clerk

Responsibilities
4Creeks is seeking a Payroll Clerk to work under the direction of the Payroll Specialist on our Administration team. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data
- Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions
- Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
- Verify timekeeping information for all employees
- Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime
- Calculate bonuses and commissions when appropriate
- Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll
- Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to supervisor
- Bi-Monthly PTO Update and management
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of job experience
- The ideal candidate will have a high customer service mindset/experience, ability to learn processes quickly, exceptional attention to details, and excellent organizational skills
- Bonus points for A.A. or B.S. in Business, or other related field.
- Valid CA Drivers license and functional vehicle
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and computer proficiency is required.
Compensation
Salary will be determined by candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. Benefits package includes full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, and performance bonuses. The expected pay range for this position is $18 to $24 per hour.
