Description: Intermountain Healthcare is at present looking to employ NICU RN - Newborn ICU - Primary Children's Medical Center right now, this occupation will be placed in Utah. The NICU Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountabi! lity for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of newborns with various types of health problems. The unit cares for neonates requiring care from pediatric sub- specialists in cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, general surgery, and neonatology disciplines. Valuable communication skills are needed to provide information and comfort to parents while answering their questions and concerns for their newborn. Responsibilities include monitorinig vital signs, feeding and caring for the baby, and administering medications, according to doctor instructions. Other responsibilities could include placing and monitoring IV’s and supplying oxygen when necessary
Entry Rate: $21.80/hr
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Shift Details: 3 x 12hr shifts per week, rotating Nights, Days, Weekends, and Holidays.

Minimum Requirements
Active Utah Registered Nurse(RN) license

Preferred Qualifications
