Salt Lake Regional Medical Center is the first facility in the state to invest i! n new technology for fighting cancer. This new technology incl! udes the daVinci robotic surgery system. Cook: Works under the general supervision of the Food Services Director and the direct supervision of the Executive Chef.
Responsibilities include (1) production and proper storage of food items for cafeteria, catering and patient services and (2) cleanliness and sanitation of all related food production areas. Works closely with other team members to maintain both hospital and departmental standards. Requirements Must have a passion for great food and exceptional customer service.Previous Food Service Experience in a commercial industry requiredA Utah State Food Handlers Permit or ServSafe Certification required. Communication skills in English both written and verbal is required.
Preferred Hospital experience in food services prefe! rred.Additional Language Skills (Spanish) preferred. Previous line/grill cooking experience highly desired. Salt Lake Regional is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
