Over the years, Salt Lake Regional has undergone renovations and additions shaping it into the worldâ€"class facility it is today. Currently, the 200â€"bed hospital encompasses 316,000 squareâ€"feet of medical facilities. Additionally, there are three medical office buildings on campus. Salt Lake Regional Medical Center has established itself as a leader in quality healthcare services, including specialties in cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, maternity and women's services, men's health, rehabilitation, geriatric medicine and mental health services for seniors, sports medicine, oncology, emergency care and bariatric services.

Salt Lake Regional Medical Center is the first facility in the state to invest i! n new technology for fighting cancer. This new technology incl! udes the daVinci robotic surgery system. More than 500 physicians serve on the hospital's medical staff and more than 600 employees share in the hospital's efforts to provide expert medical care and excellent customer service. Cook: Works under the general supervision of the Food Services Director and the direct supervision of the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities include (1) production and proper storage of food items for cafeteria, catering and patient services and (2) cleanliness and sanitation of all related food production areas. Works closely with other team members to maintain both hospital and departmental standards. Requirements Must have a passion for great food and exceptional customer service.Previous Food Service Experience in a commercial industry requiredA Utah State Food Handlers Permit or ServSafe Certification required. Communication skills in English both written and verbal is required.

Preferred Hospital experience in food services prefe! rred.Additional Language Skills (Spanish) preferred. Previous line/grill cooking experience highly desired. Salt Lake Regional is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
