Part-time: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Hours vary between 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Responsible for assisting the surgeon, helping in the care and sterile processing of instruments, and restocking and changing over rooms between procedures.
Ensure patient comfort and safety measures are maintained.
Assist in preparing the operative suite for surgery by checking supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
Interact with patients, fellow employees, physicians, and other customers in a manner which encourages quality patient care, harmonious working relationships, positive customer relations, and which enhances the image and reputation of the clinic.
Assist in patient and equipment movement activities, demonstrating proper positioning and safety techniques.
Maintain equipment, supplies, and instruments in proper condition and troubleshoot equipment problems.
Adhere to OSHA standards by wearing personal protective equipment, following universal precautions and being knowledgeable about blood borne ! pathogens.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prefer one year Su! rgical Technician experience.
Must possess organizational skills, along with medical terminology background.
Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, public, and physicians.
