General Surgeon with Trauma experience to serve as the Trauma Medical Director

Jordan Valley Medica! l Center, West Jordan, UTAH

Recruitment of a General Surgeon with trauma experience to have both a general surgery practice and to serve as the trauma medical director of both Jordan Valley Medical Center and Pioneer Valley Hospital is of very high priority for this market. Medical Director and new practice will be based out of Jordan Valley Medical Center.

• Medical Directorship will consist of 25 hours per month of time to serve as director of both medical centers
• JV and PV Medical Centers both plan to be Level 3 Trauma Programs
• Plan to start seeing trauma patients by November 2013
• Seeking certification from the state in July 2014
• There will be (3) partners in the practice
• Critical care/Trauma fellowship is preferred but not required
• Experience in a Level 1,2 or 3 trauma hospital is REQUIRED
• Call coverage 1:4
