Technical Consultant [United Kingdom]


 

Role Introduction
We at Advanced are looking for a capable Technical Consultant to join our team! In this role, you will be providing a range of on site and remote technical consultancy services, focused around software deployment for our customers.
This is a remote role that can primarily be worked from home, but may involve some travel to our offices or customers sites.
What You Will Do
As a Technical Consultant, your main duties will include:

  • Deployment of on-premise IT infrastructure solutions using Microsoft and other 3rd party technologies
  • Provisioning of our private and Microsoft Azure cloud solutions
  • Deployment of our own in house software solutions

What You Will Have
As a Technical Consultant, you will posses some or all of the following skills/experience:

  • Microsoft Server Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012 -2022)
  • Microsoft PC Operating Systems (Windows 8 & above)
  • MS Azure/Office 365 tenancy setup and deployment
  • Microsoft Application Software (> Office 2013)
  • Microsoft Exchanger (Exchange 2007 - 2016)
  • Active Directory design and configuration
  • Thin Client Systems (Windows Terminal Services)
  • Microsoft HyperV deployment and setup
  • Microsoft Cluster Services
  • Sophos AV, Veeam backup solutions, Mimecast email security
  • TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Dell or HP hardware
