Pioneer Valley Hospital, West Valley City, UT
Large MS group is looking to add a BC/BE General Surgeon to their practice. Group is made up of 18 specialties with 5 General Surgeons currently. Practice is located in MOB with Support Staff already in place.

Employment practice arrangement

Inpatient and Outpatient

Call coverage is 1:2 with physician being required to cover 10 days per month; call pay for any additional days

General bread and butter surgeries
·
PVH ER averages 3,000 visits per month; Hospital is not a trauma center
·
Surgery volume in market substantiates adding another surgeon
In addition to ER referrals, which are 50% of the General Surgery volume, ideal candidate should be interested in developing and growing the surgical practice.
Pioneer Valley Hospital is a campus of Jordan Valley Medical Center and is located in the northwest quadrant of the Salt Lake City market. It has one of the busiest emergency rooms in Utah, offers a broad spectrum of medical services and has recently added specialty clinics to care for the diverse healthcare needs of the community it serves. This west side market consists of two IASIS hospital campuses, Pioneer Valley and Jordan Valley, and is the fastest growth area of Utah. Projections are for an increase in 15,000 households in next 5-10 years.
West Valley City and the greater Salt Lake City area are a very family-friendly environment and a great place to raise a family with an excellent public school system and clean, safe communities. There are a dozen ski resorts within an hour’s drive. Salt Lake City has four distinct seasons and all the amenities expected of larger metropolitan areas (theater, arts, collegiate and professional football) within a short drive.
