Built in 1875, it was one of ! the first hospitals in the Salt Lake Valley. The Sisters of the Holy Cross were the original owners and they continued to operate the hospital until 1994. Over the years, Salt Lake Regional has undergone renovations and additions shaping it into the world-class facility it is today. Currently, the 200-bed hospital encompasses 316,000 square-feet of medical facilities. Additionally, there are three medical office buildings on campus.
Salt Lake Regional Medical Center has established itself as a leader in quality healthcare services, including specialties in cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, maternity and women's services, men's health, rehabilitation, geriatric medicine and mental health services for seniors, sports medicine, oncology, emergency care and bariatric services.

Education Manager
The Education Manager is responsible for coordinating education activities for staff, patients, and the community. Demonstrates the knowledge and assessment skills necessary to communicate, educate, and provide a therapeutic and safe environment for specific age groups served. Must be able to respect diversity of each individuals values, culture, spiritual beliefs, and other socio-economic issues in addressing the needs of patients, visitors, and co-workers. The Manager maintains education operations within established budgetary parameters, conducts annual hospital/community-wide needs assessments, develops an annual evaluation of the education department, and sets goals and objectives for future needs. Must effectiv! ely interact with patients and health team members while maintaining established professional standards. Demonstrates support of the Medical Center's mission, values and vision in all actions and interactions with employees, patients, medical staff, guests and visitors through use of STAR key words: Service, Teamwork, Attitude/Accountability, Responsiveness.
Requirements
Current Utah RN License
BLS Certification
Strong written and verbal communication
Advanced computer skills
Must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing School
Must have at least 5 years clinical experience., with clinical education experience preferred.
