Job Summary:

DT Professional Services is seeking a Junior Data Processor to support our team in Norco, CA! This position operates keyboard-controlled data entry devices (such as a computer) to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing. Job tasks require skill in reviewing manufacturing documents, and then to transcribe data, procedures and relevant equipment data. This position works under close supervision and follows specific procedures and detailed instructions. The Data Processor works from various standardized source documents, that have been coded and require little to no selecting, coding or interpreting of data. Problems such as erroneous items and codes, or missing information are to be reviewed with other team members during training. This position will require the application of training & previous experience and judgment in selecting the proper data to be searched for by interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Review manufacturing documents and data
  • Identify data set problems and resolve issues based on applicable policies and procedures
  • Respond to inquiries submitted by Data Managers
  • Maintain and update records and the GIDEP tracking database
  • Access Government sites to obtain manufacturing documents in order to extract the needed data
  • Ability to research and process information, assemble data through interrogation/navigation of internet based information systems using various search engines
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing and work with others as a team member
  • Ability to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude in an environment that requires teamwork, efficiency, and cross-training
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and work at a fast pace

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have 2+ years experience in Microsoft Suite including Excel and Word
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • Basic computer skills
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance OR the ability to reactivate a DoD Clearance held within the last 24 months OR current Interim Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), Engineering, metrology, product information, and Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) information
  • Read blueprints
  • Understand Cage codes and National Stock Numbers

The compensation range for this position: $18.00 - $21.00 hourly.
